Introduction to Acute Angles: The Letter V
You can learn a lot about angles by looking at letters. Look closely at the letter V below and then compare it to the the three angles below.
Which angle does it look like?
The Letter V is an Acute Angle
The letter V looks most like angle 1, an acute angle. An acute angle is one with a measure less than 90 degrees. Therefore, when we look at the letter V, we see an acute angle.
