Circles - Chords and Tangents
Students should be able to:
- idenfity and draw a circular sector.
Circular Sectors
- A sector is a pie-shaped part of a circle. It is formed by two radii and a a section of the circle called an arc.
- The angle formed by the sector is called the central angle.
Interactive Circle
Use the interactive circle below to draw a circular sector. Click on the circle to plot a point and then the center to draw a radius. After the radius is drawn, click anywhere on the circle to draw a sector.
