You can use this line graph to learn how to:

  • Match a set of data with a graph of the data.
  • Make and read a table and a line graph with your own data.
  • Answer questions about how data changes over time and make predictions about the data.
 


Directions:

1. Enter a temperature for January. Hint: look up the average monthly temperatures for the city you live in and use those to complete the line graph.

2. Click ADD and the temperature for January will appear in the table.

4. Continue adding temperatures (you do not have to add one for every month). Click DONE when you have entered them all.

5. A small blue dot will appear on the horizontal axis above each month. Drag the dots to the temperature for each month. As you do, a line will connect each of the dots to each other.
